[Goal 9: Industries, Innovation, and Infrastructure] 

*Inclusive and sustainable industrialization, together with innovation and infrastructure, can develop economic forces that generate employment and income. They play a key role in introducing and promoting new technologies, international trade, and efficient use of resources. Innovation and technological progress are key to finding lasting solutions to both economic and environmental challenges, such as increased resource and energy efficiency.

   *inclusive  (1) covering everything or all important points; comprehensive, full, thorough  

    (2) aiming to include and integrate all people and groups in activities, organizations, political processes.

Goal 9.1: Develop reliable and sustainable infrastructure to support economic development and human well-being.

Goal 9.2: Promote sustainable industrialization and raise the industry’s share of employment and *GDP.

    *GDP  Gross Domestic Product: the total value of goods and services produced by a country in a year
