What do you think? 
Write five to eight sentences in response to one of the questions below.
In your culture, what is the polite or appropriate way to;

- to say goodbye

=> Write your response as Main Idea and the fact/reason as Supporting Detail(s), and explain it/them clearly with examples.

[TS] When someone gives a gift in a formal situation, most people in Japan tend to receive a gift in a behaved manner.
<= [SS-1] First, the receiver tries to look surprised by the gift because they don’t want the giver to think it was expected.
[SD-1] In some cases, the receiver often refuses to take the gift until the giver repeatedly asks to take it.
<= [SS-2] Also, people don’t open the gift right away because they’re afraid to look childish.
[SD-2] They don’t want to mess around the place with the wrapping paper, either.
[CS] Neither the giver nor the receiver of a gift wants to make a big deal of it in Japan, at least in front of each other.
