Japan's Population-Jul.22

The number of babies born in 2002 was 1,153k, down from 1967 when 1,935k were born.
The number has been kept declining and in 2018, it was only 918k.

The current population of 126 mil is projected to be around
117 mil in 2030
107 mil in 2040,
and 97 mil in 2050 respectively.

Accordingly, competitions for higher education and employment are both becoming less severe.
In fact, both colleges and companies are competing only to fill their capacities and requirements.
