SDG 10-Dec 3

[Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities]
Inequalities need to be reduced between developed and developing countries. What also needs to be reduced is deepening inequalities among vulnerable populations, such as refugees, migrants, minorities, indigenous peoples, older persons, people with disabilities, and children.
- Children in the poorest 20% of the population are three times more likely to die before their fifth birthday than in the richest countries.
- In developing countries, maternal mortality rates in rural areas are still up to three times higher than in urban areas.
- Many women live below 50% of the *median income.
*median income: the income amount that divides a population into two equal groups, an income above that amount and below that amount. 収入の中央値 t he average income)
   Median=> [1,3,4,6,7,8,9]    Average=>5.42 [1,3,4,6,7,8,9]
Goal 10.1: Achieve higher income growth for the bottom 40% of the population than the national average.
Goal 10.2: Promote social, economic, and political equality among all peoples.
Goal 10.3: Reduce inequalities by eliminating discriminatory laws, policies, and practices.
