Nature
makes people feel relaxed. However, allocating the limited available space in a city for nature, sports,
and playgrounds poses a challenge. If your city is planning to build a park,
how much of its available space should be allocated to nature?
Write your response in six to eight
sentences.
(the majority/most/half/some
of, percent of, one-third/two-thirds of)
I’d propose that more than
half of the park be used for people to relax in nature. Since a park is a
public space, the majority of the space should be dedicated to a space where
everyone can enjoy spending their time in nature. Also, there is little green
space in cities, even though nature gives people the chance to relax and
refresh themselves. We need just enough space for people to walk, run, ride a
bicycle, or sit down to enjoy their time in nature. In addition, there are
already quite a few facilities for art, sports, and other activities in and
around the city. Our new park should be a place where people can enjoy nature.

I would suggest that about half of the park be used for natural spaces. A park should balance nature and active areas so that different people can enjoy it in their own ways. Natural areas can help reduce stress and improve mental health in busy cities. Also, open spaces for sports and playgrounds allow everyone to stay active and healthy. People can choose to relax quietly or exercise, depending on their needs. For these reasons, a balanced park would best serve the community.

I would propose that two-thirds of the park should be allocated to nature. These days, the number of parks in metropolitan areas is decreasing and buildings are increasing, so people cannot spend much time in nature. To feel relaxed in nature, things they cannot experience in a busy city, such as hiking or camping should be prepared. Also, it is important to protect plant and animal ecosystems even a little. Reducing nature makes environmental issues, so we should increase nature not to harm to health. Our new park should be a place where they feel relaxed and protect ecosystems.

返信削除I would use forty percent of the available space for several large park. There are some problems with parks, such as loud noise and traffic accidents. However, if one park is large, the distance between the park and residential areas can reduce noise problems. I think making several large parks is better than making many small parks. In addition, when children run out of a park, traffic accidents may happen. Therefore, it is important to separate streets from play areas in the park. For these reasons, I think it is a good idea to use forty percent of the available space for parks.

I would suggest that one third of the park be used to make a nature space. Managing nature is a difficult because it costs a lot and needs some people. If the park had more nature, we couldn’t keep it clean and safety. Also, wide nature spaces cause bug problems. I hard the news about some residents live near the park are suffered from bugs. It necessary to consider the balance between nature and residents.
