Question: First Trip to Japan

For my new job, I will travel to Japan next month and meet my Japanese boss. This will be my first trip to Japan. I’m worried about correct business etiquette and manners. My boss invited me to her home for dinner.
Do you have any advice?

  1. You should arrive host's house before around 5 minutes you need to arrive. Keeping host wait is really rude. Also if you wear the coat, you should take coat off before entering the house. In Japan, take coat off and hold half into its outside. It is a manner to keep clean host's house.
