Write a paragraph in response to a question posted on an online
forum about politeness;
I think that
young students today are very rude.
I’m one of the senior members of the school
Judo club.
How can I
teach junior members to be polite?
Plan
1. Write a topic sentence to answer the question.
2. Write examples as many as you can think of to support the topic
sentence and main idea.
3. Exchange the planning sheet with a partner. Circle the good
examples to support the topic sentence.
4. Choose or revise the examples, or add
more examples to best answer the question.
Write a paragraph to answer the question with two or
more examples to support your answer.
Try
to use the vocabulary from the unit, adjectives with prefixes or suffixes.
You should teach the young students about the relationship between the senior to junior.
返信削除For example, you require them to greet deeply before and after the lesson.
It would make them have fight spirits and know the importance of strong feelings.
You could talk them about the politeness of Judo, such as respects and thanks, too.
They would make up their mind to be polite, and concentrate on the lesson.
My opinion is show your result for them.
返信削除If you force them to be polite, they get angly and they never change their manner.
Because they not agree to change there manner yet.
Most important thing is not what is normal in your club, but what they thing in that case.
But if you show your result and earn the respect of them, they may start to change their manner by there self.
It's easy for you, and it need cheaper cost than former way.
And another way, that is do nothing and wait until they change their self is need too many time and it's unstable.
That is the reason why I can't recommend you this way.
Lastly, if there are only fool, you can treat them as they do.
You can say being polite to young members and show what is polite by your behaviour.
返信削除You needs to behave as you are polite and formal person.
For example, saying hello to anyone especially to senior to show your respect. Listening to others carefully and responding with clear voice. Also not being late for the time.
And you say it's manner to young. If you will continue this polite behaviour, young will notice how manner is important.
