Rohingya world's largest refugee camp-Sr.2-Sep.16

Rohingya crisis Growing up in the world's largest refugee camp
In Cox’s Bazar district in Bangladesh, there are a few large-scale refugee camps for Rohingya people who fled from ethnic and religious persecution in Myanmar. Nearly a million inhabitants live in those camps with little to eat and live on. The camps are so overpopulated that social distancing is hardly possible to prevent coronavirus from spreading. Also, the camps are so vulnerable to cyclone season. Even if they can manage to live today, they see little or no hope for the future. Despite such despairing situations, 20,000 children are born there every year. What are their lives like? What hope do those young lives have?

  1. I do not agree with the proposal. If this proposal has done, some country will not pay the UN budget contribution to not accept refugees. The US pays a lot of money to the UN and accepts one of the number of refugee in the world but Japan accepts very few refugees even the pays a lot of money to the UN so Japan might decrease the amount of money. But I think the country which pay a lot of money to the UN should accept the refugees because they are not poor.

    2. I do not agree with the proposal. If this proposal is approved, some country will not pay the UN budget contribution to not accept refugees. There are two kinds of country which pays a lot of money to the UN such as the US and Japan. The US pays a lot of money to the UN and accepts one of the big number of refugees in the world but Japan accepts very few refugees even the pays a lot of money to the UN. So, if this proposal has done, Japan might decrease the pays to keep accept less refugees. If this happens in real, the UN won't get much money to administration.

  2. I don't think other countries should accept the Rohingya and other refugees in accordance with the UN budget contribution.
A lot of contribution doesn't mean that there is a enough room for Rohungya and other refugees.
Japan, for instance, is a very small country and has little money even though contribution to UN is the third largest in the world.
Especially now many countries are in the hard economic situation because of the Corona Shock.
Also, we have little knowledge about Rohungya, so it's dangerous to accept them easily to the county which citizens don't have enough knowledge about it.
For two reasons, I don't agree with the idea.

  3. Other countries should not accept the Rohingya and other refugees.
I have two reasons. First, if other countries accept the refugees it would be difficult for other countries people.
Second if the population increases year by year they would face food shortage.

  4. I disagree with the proposal.
There are a lot of difficulties to accept the refugees such as the difference of religion, the location of the country.
The difference of religion or culture has possibility to cause the confusion like terrorisms.
To avoid these problems, we should find the country which is located near the refugees’ country, has the similar culture and has some budget instead.

    2. I disagree with the proposal.
There are a lot of differences in religion, cultures, and living environment.
These differences could cause some dangers such as conflicts.
There are places near by that share the same religion or similar culture, so we should find the country to accept the refugees to come in to avoid these problems.

  5. I didn’t agree with this proposal.
It is difficult to accept Rohingya in a country where one race is the majority of the population such as Japan.
People in that country definitely feel uncomfortable and I don’t think it’s comfortable environment for the Rohingya either.
It’s less trouble to live in a country of mixed races with more Rohingya.

They should be sent to a place where many races are mixed.

  6. I don’t agree with the proposal.
Japan can’t afford to accept eight point five percent of Rohingya people.
It means about eighty five thousand Rohingya people come to Japan, and they cause many problems among the local people..
Russia has much larger field than Japan but it will accept only two point four percent of Rohingya people.
For these reasons, it’s not the best way to help them.

If 85,000 Rohingya people come to Japan, they will cause many problems among the local people.
On the other hand, Russia has much lager field than other countries and can take more than 2.4 percent of Rohingya people.
For these reasons, it’s not the best way to help them.
